Have a V3, should I get Samsung D600, other?????

Hi there, I am on Rogers. I currently have V3 RAZR (orig). Had it for about a year and need a change. bought and sold a Son K750i, camera was awesome but reception was awful. I love the reception with my RAZR, and want nothing less for my new phone. I am considering the Samsung D600/606. I think it looks cool, feels compfortable, 2mp camera with flash. I'd liek an 810i, but they are a little expensive. Looking at spending about 200cad. Just need good reception like my RAZR. What do you guys think, recomend?

I had both the Razr and the D600. The razr reception is much better. The D600 got maybe 1 or 2 bars in places where my razr was at full strenght. The D600 is a nice phone but if u want reception, then stay with the Razr.

The K750i doesn't have the 850 band so that may be your problem right there.

The V3i and the K1 are the next two steps up from the RAZR in the motorola lineup and probably have equivalent reception to the RAZR V3.

I'd ask your provider if the 850MHz band is a factor in your calling area because if it is, a triband 850 or a quadband would help you out greatly.

If you are going for a Sony Ericsson I'd say a W810i would be a good choice because of the quadband. If camera quality is important then check out the K790a which has a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with real xenon flash and triband 850.

I don't really like Samsungs, but if I had to get one I'd opt for the D900 because of the thinness and the features. Not sure how good the reception would be in your area though.

yam i knew the k750i was only tri band n thats y it sucked. Unfortunately I just bought a V3x on ebay last nite assuming it was guadband but it is only tri, so wen I get it in the mail, I guess it will be going back on ebay. Doesn't motorla make a 2mp camera phone that is quadband? If not that's just stupid. If anyone is interested in my V3x private msg me, I got it for a good price so I will sell it for what I paid, I am not tryign to make monye off it, just trying to get a good new phone

Yeah, the Moto KRZR K1 is a quad 2mp camera, but it's at least as expensive as the w810i.

Eventually, I'm waiting a while before I buy the K790a. Once I get the hang of that phone, I'll probably sell off my V3i.
