Have a Mirena and having very strange mood swings? Mirena side effect, or

something more? I've been (in the last month or so) much more irritable and moody. Particularly when it comes to our daughter (10 months). I don't know if it is her testing the limits of what she can get away with annoying me, and making me short tempered, or if it is a side effect of the IUD. If it is the IUD it worries me because I know that it uses the same hormone as most other bc on the market. I don't want to go off bc completely because we cannot have another child right now (we are a military family and it is bad timing), which was the reason for the IUD. I've had it since she was about 3 months old, and am just now starting to see these sort of changes in myself. Also, I know that it can cause you to not have periods, but I've had a completely normal regular period up until this month. I had one the end of August, middle of September, and now, nothing. I don't know if that means I should take a test or be grateful that I most likely won't have one for the rest of the time I have the IUD.

Any one mind sharing experiences while using the Mirena to give me some idea of what I should do?
