Have a just over 3 years old Panasonic MN-574SBBPQ Micro Wave oven/grill.?

The Microwave does not complete it's program when 'switched on'. It stops few seconds before it completes the "cycle" and does not heat up as well . Run out of warranty. Any idea on what could be wrong?
 
the magnetron might be going bad,does it make a loud humming noise ,if so then that's what it is.and it's not worth fixing.the part and the labor will cost more than the microwave is worth
