I know all bodies are different but i was just wating to know if any one can tell me when an anterior and posterior surgery is done about how long until you can drive or get around pretty good?

I was asking for the fact that my twins really want to play base ball and it is time for signup and i think they may start to play around end of April or May. I will go in for the surgery on March the 14.

Do you think i could do it?
I just hate seeing their upset faces and they were asking on the way home from basket ball game what all we are going to do this summer.
And it litterally broke my heart cause i dont think i will be able to do much at all.Sorry just a down time right now. BBL

I would say that's borderline. I was allowed to drive at 6 weeks, but I really didn't want to. But then again, I'm a little older than you and I had a lot of levels done. Your recovery might be faster than mine. I only drove when I couldn't avoid it, like taking my sons to work. Their bosses were so great for a long time after my surgery. They arranged for someone to pick them up many times so they could still work. After 6 weeks, sometimes they got a pick up and sometimes I drove them. I think the more important question is where would you sit once you got there? I sure wasn't up to being up for hours at a time at that point. I could drive my kiRAB to work, but then I went back home and laid down.

Are there people who could do the driving for you? Maybe you could ask someone else to drive for the first month or two, then figure you can drive for them for a month or two later on. I know my own inclination would be to go ahead and sign them up and hope for the best. We want our kiRAB to have those great experiences. But just be aware, and maybe make them aware, that it might have to go on hold if you're not up to it when the time comes.

Will our kiRAB ever appreciate all our sacrifices? Probably not, but then, that's not why we do it!

Thanks Emily you always help with your kind worRAB. I think i will do that and i hope i can when the time comes. Ill see when they actually pick teams if there is any one i can ride with the girls have played since t-ball and this will be their 3rd year playing so we know quit a bit of people.

Yea we would go to the end of the world for our kiRAB and they just dont realize it do they?
