As the weather turns cooler and people hunker down for the winter, I guess their energies are refocused into some creative pursuits. There are two shared creative projects coming up in November. Are you considering doing either of these?
  • NaNoWriMo - November is National Novel Writing Month. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel, all in the month of November. Last year, there were 101,510 participants, and 15,333 of them completed the project. I’m considering this, but it seems like too much for me right now. Any previous participants have some words of wisdom?
  • Make Something Day - Make Something Day is a response to the consumptive, unsustainable habits of American culture. Rather than go out and spend money on the day after Thanksgiving, Make Something Day offers ideas for holiday offers gifts can create yourself. Or, you can offer some ideas of your own.
