Once the brake pedal is down and held down, open the bleeder screw on the wheel cylinder. Once fluid or air stops coming out tighten the screw and have the other person pump the brakes a few times and repeat the process. Depending on how much and where you have air still trapped you may have to repeat this a few times at each wheel. Make sure to keep the reservoir filled with fluid otherwise you will get more air in the system again.

...installed a new master cylinder.? my mechanic stops by and bleeds them sometimes. he doesn't use any special tool to bleed them no hoses or pumps or anything. just a wrench

Do what the first guy said but start at right rear wheel, left rear, right front, then left front.

I use a hand vacuum pump which has accessories to adapt to multiple vehicle applications.I paid 35.00$ for mine and I use it constantly and I don't need anyone to pump the brake pedal or do anything. this is a one person operation and can be accomplished without any expert knowledge. I have no problems with placing a hose on the bleeder and opening bleeder and then hand pumping to draw fluid out of the master cylinder. just make sure you don't allow all the fluid to drain out of master cylinder and keep adding new fliud to master cylinderor you will pull air into the system and will have to keep on pumping out fluid to remove the air you just introduced into the system. this is the easiest way i have found and have been using this way for over 40 years. hope this helps you out!
