whooping cough? Ok so when i was pregnant i had it. i was gagging and crying and it was horrible experience.
My niece's friend was diagnosed with whooping cough a month or two ago. And now my sister just told me her baby, and her middle son, have been tested for whooping cough and that she will get her daughter (said niece) tested if the results for the other two come back on wednesday positive.
There is a hugely high chance my daughter could have it if they do too as we have all been around each other. Im totally freaking out, to the point im in tears almost, thinking my daughter needing that test. it was painful, uncomfortable and i hate it. she is 10months old. She has been coughing, mainly in her sleep. I just havent thought much of it, just, cuz well we all cough. i know i might be over paranoid but im so worried
im not going to put her through that test until wendesday (right now here it is monday afternoon) and find out the results of my nieces n nephews.
Anyways, enough of my paranoia, have your babies/ child ever had to get that nose/throat swab? How did they handle it?
she has been immunised. My sisters doctor toold her that she didnt need to have the baby done until her sons test results came back, but decided to get her done anyway. So i was just presuming the same would go for my daughter? not to worry until it has been diagnosed within the family?
oh now im worried even more.
the throat wasnt bad, i was more upset with the nose one. it hurt
