other teams were granted more rest? United's "favouritism" has failed them here:

Liverpool - Premier League saturday, Champions League wednesday: 3 days off between games.

Chelsea - PL saturday, CL wednesday: 3 days off.

Arsenal - PL saturday, CL tuesday: 2 days off.

Manchester United - PL sunday, CL tuesday: 1 day off.

We'll have to wait on results of course but the above gives Ferguson an excuse if they don't go his way...
