All the military branches are doing exceptionally well in terms of recruitment lately, and it's a good assumption that more people are looking for a steady job and turning to the military.
But has it been this way in previous recessions in US history? If possible, I'm especially looking for articles, statistics, etc. of some sort to look into, and having trouble finding anything.
