The 21st Century is the century of freedom. Every year, more laws are being dropped and enforcement is lax. We are allowed to carry out lots of practices and do whatever we wish. If we wore crop tops and miniskirts 50 years ago, they would consider it rude. If we were homosexuals 100 years ago, they'd have us killed. If we encouraged prostitution 100 years ago publicly, we'd be executed. Now I've noticed the Netherlands is probably in my opinion the most free country on earth. They have a district in Amsterdam dedicated to sex, prostitution and erotica. More and more gay bars and clubs are being opened in Amsterdam, with even Gay churches... They publicly sell marijuana and legalise its use... Euthanasia (assisted suicide) is now legal, yet murder isn't... Incest is legal in the Netherlands since 200 years ago... They direct anti-Islamic hate films and preach anti-Islamic ideology across their nation... They are in support of considering anti-immigration laws in their country... Homosexuality and lesbianism is legalised and being supported... Now I think that Holland, 'Land of the Windmills and Tulips' has lost it's innocent touch and culture. It is rich in art and history, so why did they ruin it? I'm not an extremist homophobe, but is homosexuality ethical? Now all these reasons I've listed, I want to know you're opinion - Has the Netherlands lost its morals?Tell me your thoughts people! You can criticize me, but just don't add hate comments. Thanks guys.BEST ANSWER: Fully informative, opinionated, no hate or racism etc, and needs back up evidence to support.I have been 3 times actually, twice to Amsterdam and once to Eindhoven. I don't actually hate the Dutch, Im just saying there are those people there.. I love Holland, but there are people like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Gert Wilders, Theo Van Gogh, Charlie Geerts, Pim Fortuyn, these people are screwing up your country I believe.lol Bla Bla, yes I admit I was lying on my other questions
But thats only to gain best answer. And you do make a fair point, there are other issues at home, but Im just saying that ive noticed over the years the netherlands is going downhill. And for the real truth, im actually a 15 year old british-jordanian male who is interested in world affairs.
