...massive leeches to grow on? the U.S. economy causing socialization of losses while profits are kept private by bankers who are donating money to and serving on administrations of both political parties?
The paper traders have now grown to over 20% of the U.S. economy, becoming too big to fail on our dime!
1982-92 The Fed Reserve bails out Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil to protect U.S. banks from losses.
1984 Four billion Fed, Treasury, and FDIC rescue of Continental Illinois Bank.
1989-92 U.S. spends 250 billion dollars during the S&L crisis.
1994-95 Treasury bails out the failing Mexican government in order to preserve the Peso and protect U.S. investors.
1997 We pressure the IMF to bail out east Asian currencies to once again protect the bankers that loaned them money.
2008 The U.S. citizens once again are liable for the debt incurred for bailing out bankers that just crashed our own economy.
