Has our society advanced compared to a civilization that prospered over 1500 years ago?
If the Roman Empire had the technology and industry that we have today, they would still be ruling the world, without all the corruption and degradation. This society has deteriorated considerably, especially in the past 40 years. There is too much of everything ~ excess, pollution, carelessness, Godless people, evil, hatred, materialism, love of money and on and on.
There is not ONE thing that has "advanced" in this society since ancient civilization. How can people say we have advanced when we still deal with the same issues that most people dealt with centuries ago?
