keeps shudderin and cuttin out? I have purchased a 1997 ford ka yesterday which has 59k miles and was previously a category d but has been repaired and returned to road. the test drive was fine nothing unusual and i drove it yesterday and today. the oil light came on so i checked and it didnt have much in although it has just had an MOT so i put a litre of 5w/30 which was reccomended by ford and halfords. After i had put it in i started engine the whole car started shuddering and shaking and then conked out. At first i thought maybe this is what it does after oil as im a new driver. so i started again and it did the same. i started it for the 3rd time and used the accelorator and of which it didnt cut out but as soon as i took my foot off the accelorator it cut out. i tried driving it but as soon as i took the acceloration off it would shudder and cut out again. the exghaust also didnt sound to good. what could this be, please help me.
