Has John McCain always been such a grump, or did losing the election do it?

John McCain used to seem like he had a sense of humor, but ever since he tacked HARD RIGHT for the election, he seems like such a grumpy old man. Was it the election? Did Sarah Palin do it to him? I hope he didn't think he was going to get some of that!

You were one of the people scared that he would kick over in office and Palin would step up. I would be a grump too.
