has batman ever used the sharp blades on his gloves in combat?

Alright so from when I was 9 till as im 16 ive been wondering,has batman ever used the blades on his gloves that resemble bat claws?I can imagine the blades on his gloves doing some Major damage to his enemies faces like he could slash his enemy's face with his blades on his gloves.Correct my if they were really made to be called claws not blades or something like that.thank you.
