If you attend a one year preparatory program to get immersed in the culture and taught the language, is it possible to then continue studying for a degree? A HIGHLY technical degree? (nuclear engineer, chemistry)....
I plan on doing something like this, and I have an easy time picking up new languages, but the technical vocabulary you need for studying for an engineering degree is scaring me. I was told many students do it each year, but I'm a little skeptical.
