I friend of mine just got a ducati 696 and she loves it. She is short (5'3) and so she needed a lower seat to feel comfortable. The ducatis are fantasticly engineered motorcycles and the diavel is wikedly fast. If you are interested in one, make sure that you can handle the power, the weight, and can manage it standing still.
BTW, i want to get the monster 1100 and have my eye on it for either later this summer or for spring next year. I prefer the upright naked bikes.
