Has anyone purchased extended saddlebags from tjd customs

if you want a bag that you can bolt your stuff on and not grab for a shotgun in frustration....buy the topshop bags. as for the rear fender cover Bad dad is the way to go and the two work with each other very well.....IMO i will post some pics this week.....as the project is now complete

Somethimes you get what you pay for. If you need to put a lot of work into the bags/fender is it really worth it?

If you have any questions feel free to contact me through HD here or give me a call at 1-877-996-8508 and I will help you in anyway that I can.
Thanks,

They have horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!! It took 3 weeks for them to ship my order in the first place. Then when it showed up they had packed it so badly that the fender was broken. Zack made me do all the work in getting Fedex to pay out for a claim, which was not easy. When I finally got that done, he said he would call them and verify it, then ship me a new fender. I didn't here anything for a few days so I called him back. He said that as soon as he got the check from them he would ship it out. Not what he had agreed to at first. I have now missed out on 4 bike shows because of this! I am at my wits end with this A$$HOLE! It has now been 9 weeks sense I placed my original order and still no fender! I will never recomend these guys to anyone! What a shotty excuse for a company! What the other guys have said is true as well, It takes a lot of fitting, cutting, and sanding to make these parts work and look good.

For the most part I would agree, but it still boils down to how picky a guy is and their personal likes and dislikes. The bags I got from TopShop are of excellent quality except for the huge exhaust cutouts. I re-worked my cutouts because I'm one of those picky guys. That being said, I still recommend them when I hear of someone looking for extended bags.
