Hello. I'm on 40mg Paxil/day. Have been for 10 years with great results. I feel like it has stopped working. Have any of you experienced this and successfully switched meRAB? Thanks!
A switch to Effexor at the 150mg/day dose might make sense, because Effexor has been found to have an edge on SSRI's for depression.
After 10 years on 40mg a day of paxil, you might get some nasty discontinuation sympoms if your doctor wants you to stop the paxil before starting your new drug - it might be worth pushing to have a straight swap, where you take Paxil one day, and your new drug the next day.
