Has anyone made a racing bicycle out of Kevlar?

I would think that reducing the weight of the bike would give the racer a competitive advantage.
 
There are quite a number manufacturers producing carbon fiber bike frames, which are more or less the same thing as Kevlar.

Kevlar is a brand name, not a description of the material involved.
 
I don't know if a frame has been made from Kevlar. I would assume someone has given it a shot. Kevlar composit panels are made for aircraft etc. so it's not outragious to think it could be done. The point would be - does it perform well and is it feasible.
