Has anyone in New Brunswick NJ using ATT wireless cell phones used 4G and found it to be better than 3g? I?

I am considering two options, buying a Verizon phone which I know will work well in New Brunswick, or buy a at&t 4g phone. I was hoping someone could tell me if it is worth the switch to Verizon, or if AT&T 4g is worth keeping
