Has anyone hiked Slide Mt, Catskills, New York?

I found an old logging trail off of Rte 42 (Peekamoose Rd), I followed it up as far as I could go until I hit some serious tree damage blocking the trail. The trail head location is about a half mile or mile up from the Kanape Brook trail head parking lot on the right side. It is right on the corner as you get to the top of the hill.
I am wondering if anyone else has taken this trail up the mountain and how much farther does it go?
