Has anyone here just quit their job and hit the road in a R.V or Camper Van by

LOL.... my parents did that. Well, kinda. The company my dad worked for got bought and he lost his job. My parents had some money saved up so they bought a 30 year old RV and piled us 3 kids in it. We saw the country for the next six weeks. One of my most memorable summers growing up.
 
After I got divorced in 1999, I lived in my motor home for a couple of years, then my job transferred me to Kansas, from WA. I just hooked my car to the back of the motor home and moved. I lived in the motor home, in Kansas, for about 1 1/2 years. Then I met and married my current wife. In 2005 I drove the motor home to Oregon, didn't have a job, didn't know anyone. I found a mobile home park that would let me park the motor home in a mobile home spot. Lived in it for about 5 months until I found a job and rented a house. Then I drove back to Kansas, packed up the house there and brought my wife to Oregon.
I have a lot of experience and stories about living in an R.V.
