Would you describe that experience, please, and tell me what you took from it?

No... but one time I went camping with my Christian friends and we talked a lot about Jesus. Does that count?

HAYL to the NO.
But I seen the film of the same name and made me feel sorry for the majority of the kids, including that Rachel girl.
Morals are great, but at that camp, bigotry abounded!

Yes, but it wasn't a good experience. All the youth leaders were really gropey with the girls. It was disgusting.

Jesus camp. Jesus camp. A bunch of kids in the middle of the woods with a group of priests. If you really want to get raped just go to a prison and have a conjugal visit.

Yes, I have. I attended one summer at an episcopalian camp, which wasn't too bad. We were required to go to chapel twice a day, but nothing too odd happened. Then I attended three consecutive summers at a camp sponsored by the first assembly of god. The camp part was fun, the jesus part was more freaky brainwashing group-think than the movie portrayed. Kids making out in the woods and then sobbing their hearts out during service, babbling and blubbering and swaying, then leaving service and doing it all over again. What did I take away from it? That religion is messed up, and it followers even more so.
