Does anyone know if there is any original Sculptures left of 19th century artist Arthur Waagen? Seems the ones sold at international auction houses have been of re-cast's. Where are the originals? And if there were an original left out there, what would it be compared to for value?
I have an original signed sculpture from the 1800's by Arthur Waggen. It is signed on the base by him. It is a hunting scene. It is dark patina, with gold metallic detail. The sculpture is so detailed it is amazing. So I hope if anyone knows, any information and opinions will be appreciated.
