your story and your solution.? we tried to paint a red stipe/border on a wall already painted black and white. It was all the same brand of Behr paint. I know red is a difficult colour to use- however 3 coats were painted over a white primer- with 24 hours left in between each application. By day 3. our red wall and stripe border were starting to slide off the wall- for lack of a better description. A simple touch made it clear that the paint would peel off in sheets of stretchy pliable paint. So. What do we do to fix this?
