Has anyone had luck getting a Wii-mote at an actual store?

Are there any stores I should try to hit up that might actually have one in stock?

after 2 weeks of searching i gave up and just ordered from nintendo. got the cables and nunchuck, but no remote yet.

There were over 100 at the Toys R Us in Times Square last time I checked

I went shopping today. Toy R Us have TONS of wii remotes, classic controllers and nunchuks.

bought two remotes this week at local Gamestops (1 Sat night [last one for that store] and 1 early Sun morning at another store [had at least 6 remotes and 3 classics]). You just have to check them early in the day or every Sunday.

My local Circuit City had about 15 remotes, 3 classics and 3 chucks Thursday but those were gone fast

i went to my local target, bestbuy, toysrus yesterday. its like the Wii never existed, nothing except for some crappy 3rd party accessories.

i got 1 wiimote from walmart. two from eb games and two from gamestop. And i got lukcy and got 3 nunchucks from gamestop

Our Target and Game Stop in Greensboro both said they will have controllers and Wii's this Sunday. We all know how long those will last.....

check circuitcity.com If it says they have them in stock at the local store, RUN as fast as you can and grab them. Thats how my friend found 3 of them.
