pain, Bell's Palsy? The reason that I am asking this question is that my grandmother, 75 years old, has been having severe leg pain for the past 6 months. It started in her leg, the thigh area, but at times there are spots throughout her body that hurt. She then had drop foot, followed by Bell's Palsy. The Bell's Palsy has since happened another time. She has been to The Mayo Clinic multiple times and has yet to be diagnosed with anything.
She had Breast Cancer for the first time 30 years ago and had mentioned that she thought that maybe these recent events were side effects from the radiation she had at the time. Twenty years after having Breast Cancer it came back. About 5 or 6 years ago, she had a hole in her chest and the doctors discovered that 3 of her ribs had disintegrated due to the cancer. From there, she started treatment in the hyperbaric chamber. I must say, my grandma is a fighter and I believe if she knew what was going on now, she would be able to fight this.
