Prilosec is as good as any PPI, but no better or worse.

I've taken it for years...actually I take the generic...omerprozole. Works great for me.

hey hawkins6 thx for the reply, what is your condition though LPR or GERD?

Used to be acid reflux, but had a TIF, which was a complete failure and now I have LPR. It works for both. But, I find that I don't need so much prilosec with the LPR.
