Has anyone had an ovary removed? Has it changed anything?

Has anyone had either a unilateral or bilateral oophrectomy (one or both ovaries removed)?? If just one, has it changed your period? Have you had kids, or do you know if you are still fertile? If you've had both removed, has it changed your period?

I had one removed, and my period is SUPER funky ever since...I just wanted to know if this was normal, or if this could be a sign of infertility or something.
