Has anyone had a disc decompression?

Has anyone had a percutaneous disc decompression? I'm scheduled to have this done for a herniated disc in my lurabar spine as a last ditch effort to avoid more invasive surgery. I was wondering how painful the procedure is and how long it took before you got relief from your pain (or if you got any relief at all). Also, how long did you have to stay off of work?
