Has anyone had a bad experience with Sprint cell phone company?

I have been with Sprint for about 4 years now and have never had a problem. I always paid insurance and have had to get a couple of phones replaced because they stopped working. Last month I lost a phone and thought I could just get it replaced. Well, it turns out that the insurance only covers damaged/defected phones and you will have to either mail or bring the messed up phone in. Since I lost my phone they wanted me to pay a $50.00 deductible to get the same one back. I refused it. So they told me that I can get a new phone if I "upgrade my plan" for $10.00 more per month. I did upgrade my plan and am now paying the $10.00 more a month. I did get a great phone too. Now I am having a little problem about paying for more minutes when I don't even use them. I text more than I talk actually. Has anyone gone though a similar experience with Sprint?
