...relashionship work? Ever since i meet him, i feel a level of emotional and spiritual intimacy that i had never felt with anyone. My family is 100% against our relashionship. He is 20 and i am 31. I know it will be an everyday challenge, but we love eachother so much i am willing to face this. HAS ANYONE HAD A POSITIVE RELASHIONSHIP IN SUCH A SITUATION, PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE, I AM SO SAD THAT MOST PEOPLE CANNOT UNDERSTAND THIS ILLNESSES AND CANNOT UNDERSTAND THAT LOVE ALSO SEES NO AGE.
 
There's medication he can take. Is he on it? Never had much experience with it to be honest, but I've heard that the meds really help.
 
i use to work in a ward were most of the people were schizophrenic. they can be very loving just like you and me. you need to do research on this. he could be very violent if he hallucinates i wish all the luck in the world do what you feel is right.
