Has anyone gotten a false negative home pregnancy test after a missed period?

If so, how far along were you when you finally did get a positive result on a home pregnancy test?
If you never got a positive home pregnancy test, but in fact was pregnant, how did you find out?
Why didn't you believe the test was negative?
Did you just feel pregnant??
Please tell me your stories! Thanks so much!
 
its been 5 weeks 3 days since my last period started, so by the average 28 day cycle im about 1 week 3 days late. i've done a test 6 days ago that was negative. at least i think it was, i hid it from my partner and don't think i left it for 5 minutes before i threw it in the bin. but i just feel different. i know something has changed.

no matter what the docs say, unless they agree with me, im not gonna listen. coz i had told them for 7 years there was something wrong with me and they said it was nothing, then in the space of 2 years they told me i had bipolar II, pcos & minor ocd. i know there is definately something different because i dont just feel it i KNOW it inside myself something has changed.
 
i got 2 neg tests and i was about 4 weeks along. I ended up finding out i was really pregnant when i was 7 weeks along. honestly it couldve been a faulty test or i just didnt pee on it long enough.
I had never been pregnant b4 so when i was suddenly throwing up ALL the time i thought i was seriously ill lol.
