I've been on the internet for 2 hours and no problem so far. It's true I make it a point to keep my computer clean with regular scans. I also avoid malware's nests (illegal music, pornography, messenger). So far this morning, it's business as usual and nothing suspicious on my computer. It might very well turn out like the Y2K bug: much ado about nothing.

Fool's Virus scare? I haven't. I was told not use the internet unless necessary but I'm going to chance it. I have tons of anti-virus built in my computer. If you had any problems, what part of the country do you live in?

so far i havent had a problem but I did update microsoft windows and ran a full scan last night and this morning useing avg making sure it was updated as well so no problem surfing today as far as being told not to surf the web unless you have to I havent heard that

It's probably not related and could be an April Fools thing but I was just on utube and the text on the screen was all upside down. Very weird. Everything else is working fine. I'm in Australia.

As long as you are only running one anti-virus and have your anti-spyware up to date, as well as Microsoft......you'll be fine.
It's April 1st here now in Australia and everything is running fine on my computer.
Except for my cats standing on my keyboard!
