has anyone ever rewired the speakers in a 1990 Cadillac sedan deville?

i am wondering, because i am looking to do a complete upgrade to my cars stereo system, i am going with 14 gauge wire, and was wondering if there are any "easy" ways to do it
this model cadillac only has front and rear dash speakers, no door speakers
