about a week before my friend was going in for surgery to have her bladder repaired, her male horse had urinated blood along with a mass of tissue like something which she collected and gave to her vet right away. the results came back as bladder cancer. at this point his eating, drinking behavior was all normal. then my friend went in for her surgery to repair her bladder (her mother had bladder cancer) during her recovery she had decided to not have major treatment to her horse but to enjoy the time she has left with him. being that he still has not shown any signs of discompfort or pain. then when the time is right they would allow the vet to do what he needs to put the horse down. it was only days later that his appitite started to decrease and his everyday activities became very confusing for him. he seemed to be lost.
