.45 Special Duty one and am? wondering if the extra $400 is worth it or should I just get the regular PX4 Storm? Any information would be appreciated.
I KNOW I MISSPELLED BERETTA
I've got an older Beretta now..but the PX4 really looks exciting...I think I'm going to go ahead and get the PX4 and get the SD....I really like the looks of the tan..something about it...sharp gun!!!

My future father-in-law carries a PX4, it's a very nice gun. I've only fired the 9mm and .40 but they're very smooth, the .45 should be a pleasure to shoot.

My vote goes to the regular PX4. In my opinion a threaded barrel, extra mag and tan frame isn't worth the extra ~$400 the SD demands. If a threaded barrel is $250 and a mag is $40 that means you're spending $110 on a different coloured frame...unless you really like tan go for the regular.

If you decide you want to tacticool your pistol down the road you can always buy the threaded barrel and extra mag and duracoat the frame yourself, you'd save a bunch of money.
