Has anyone ever explored Lee Harvey Oswald's escape route in Dallas?

I know it sounds ghoulish, but is there anyone who has had the curiosity to travel from the Book Depository, take a bus to his old neighborhood, walk past his rooming house, then walk to where he shot JD Tippet, then walk to the theater where he was arrested? Or maybe even taking a short side trip to the apartment where Marina took that picture of him holding the Carcano rifle that killed JFK and the pistol that killed JD Tippet? If you had, what did you see, and what was your reaction.

I'm a history buff and would enjoy taking a day to do that sometime in the future.
Memo to Muppet:
People in the Warren Commission, conspiracy writers would automatically travel the route, but I was actually asking about regular Joe & Jane Tourists taking up this curiosity.
