My iPhone 3g has a lot of things wrong with it. Unfortunately, AT&T could not do anything about it. They said it was a hardware problem, so they sent me to Apple. Apple made me an appointment at my local Genius bar. The customer representative told me that I may have to get a replacement. Now, I'm wondering if that replacement phone would be a brand new 3g or would it be a 3gs? Has anyone every done this?
