Has anyone ever completed a "thru-hike" up the A.T. After having a bone tumor removed?
A.T. is the Appalachian trail, my girl friend and I are planning a "thru-hike", meaning hiking the full 2100+ mile trail. Last year she had a bone tumor removed from her knee and is worried about it being an issue. She now has a titanium rod and bone cement where her shin and knee used to meet.
