Has anyone else been diagnosed with epilepsy (temporal lobe) and had mood swings like manic-depression along with seizures?
I have a neurologist who says my depression and mood swings, sometimes mildly manic, are due to the center in which my seizure originate from. I see a psychiatrist who believes I have epilepsy AND bipolar d/o.
I am taking Lamictal, which works really well for seizures and have just started taking Geodon for my mood swings. Mostly I get very bad depression. Thanks!
