Has anyone created mesh screens???

I have a 999S and I have some vents/gaps at the top of my fairings right under where my knees go. The 996 or 998 had similar vents and nice metal mesh to cover the gaps...but nobody makes anything for my bike. I wanted to find some type of meshing to use so that I can cover them up. Especially since you can not only see the PCIII and stock workings, but now I have ballasts and wiring that doesn't look pretty if you look close enough.

Anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions? Thanks, CM

I use Stainless Steel screen to cover inlets which I don't want stuff to go in. You can get it in various size weaves or openings. You'll have to hunt around for it. Just shape it to the opening, leave an edge for gluing and stick it on with some stuff called "Fusor" from any body shop supplier.

Go to staples and get some of their letter trays. I think the are about $14. Cut with a cutoff wheel to rough opening, bend, and glue in with black RTV. I did it on my MV.
