remember having living down there? I cleaned out my ponds biofilter and there is 6-8 inch gap of water between the filter and the bottom of the drum. Today for the first time I cleaned out the filter anf found an unharmed 3" comet living down there. (I netted him out and put him in the pond (he has been grazing on algae ever since)
How did he make it past the pump alive. He is obviously the brother(sister) to the other young fish. but he must have been there for at least six months probably closer to six. If he is the fish I think he is he has been living in the filter since July.
