I did not assign an admin. password to my laptop, and now someone has hacked into my Verizon Pay as you go acct.,while I was applying monies toward my acct. Monday night, and was able to change my phone number and applied $250. of mins toward the listed debit card acct. They wiped out the money I had just put on it and a few mins. of the amount they charged. I filed fraud thru my bank. Verizon will not reimburse the charges and applied that money toward my acct. They canceled the allege new number and placed a credit toward my number. I did not want the minutes I want the money reimbursed. What can I do?
Has anyone been the victim of fraud thru Verizon wireless "prepaid"?
