anthropogenic climate change? I don't want to hear about a "consensus of opinion", as that has nothing to do with the scientific method.
I don't want to hear about how X number of scientists signed this statement or that, as that only shows their opinion, not facts.
I'm asking point blank if anyone has ever produced so much as one single, solitary shred of hard, irrefutable PROOF that Man has had anything whatsoever to do with global climate change.
EDIT: LOL, I love how the Chicken Little types didn't exactly flock to answer this question.
beren: "subway fan"? I don't get it. I guess it was supposed to be a slam of some sort, but in order for an insult to be effective, it has to be understood by those who read it.
beren: You are incorrect on almost every count. Core samples taken in Antarctica can and have provided evidence of climate change. There is nobody who is claiming that the climate is static. It has warmed and cooled numerous times, and that fact can be demonstrated. Were SUVs responsible for the last Ice Age as well? We can measure the amount of CO2 and other "greenhouse gasses" emitted by volcanoes, livestock, etc...so where are the workable and provable models showing that Man's influence has accelerated a shift? I understand the scientific definition of a theory just fine. This isn't it, and to claim that it is is disingenuous at best and an outright lie at worst.
