Has anybody heard the Mother's excuse?

I Just wondered if Mrs. Fritzl has said anything.
KingAndrew_ Yes, I suppose there is always another side to any story. Tragic.
 
I read an article yesterday where it explained how she had taken him back after a jail sentence for raping another woman.
So she knew full well what he was capable of and to be honest she would have to be a bit thick NOT to have some suspicions.
 
no what was the exuse something like-

she was grounded for too long and we forgot about her and mi husband checked on her and found her with a boy and she had loads of kids with him

lol if it was sumthing like that shes a bull shitter
 
Shes another victim of the monster that is Josef Fritzl. She had no clue. Considering the dominant tyrant that her husband was, she was probably too scared to question his moves. Often, fear can blind one to reality.

The knowledge that her own child was abused right under her nose for years must be tearing her apart.
 
I don't believe for one moment that she was ignorant of what was going on..She should be on trial too..How any mother can sit back and allow that to happen to her own child,is beyond me................
 
Though I find it hard to believe that she did not suspect anything, I think it may be possible that she found it so traumatic that her brain refused to process the information.
 
Denied all knowledge, and people seem to accept that. I however say, YEAH RIGHT!
 
I've not heard anything but I'd love to know why she wasn't more puzzled by the sudden appearance of the extra children in the house. If Fritzel was to say he had an affair and they were the offspring of his mistress, you wouldn't just say "OK" and carry on with life, so I suspect she knows something.
 
At this point in time it is easier to just say that she was unaware of anything. I think she was also abused and it will take some time for her to feel safe to speak the truth. Hopefully she will get some professional help and we will soon here her side of the story.
