has anybody at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee had Philip Shashko? I'm very worried about this class.?

If anybody has had him, could you let me know about his grading? I'm about to take the optional midterm and I have no idea what it will be like. The lectures are all over the place and hard to pinpoint the important information. Sometimes I wonder if I should take notes on his tangents. Also, I have no idea what he is looking for in the paper. Suggestions?

I'm in History 341 if that helps.
