this happened to me when I started the car and realized I left my purse in the room connected to my garage. My son stayed in the car and put his hand on the gear shift which went from park to reverse! I ran to jump in and push it back up but to no avail, I was thrown out and it ran over me and went down the driveway and stopped when the car hit a mailbox. Mazda said nothing was wrong with the car and has refused to do anything and I need help finding people this may have happened to as we are terrified of the car and want Mazda to step up and fix.
