If Voldemort went to Godric's Hollow alone the night he tried to kill Harry, then how come people knew all the details and how did Dumbledore know the details of Lord Voldemort's murder of Lily ??

Is there anything significance behind Voldemort wanting the Defense Against the Dark Arts teaching position so badly, or is it just because he simply wanted the job.??

well as depicted in the novel....dumbeldore was quite powerful a wizard & secondly he had snape on his ...whereas voldemort thought snape was on his side...voldemort must have discussed his plan with his death eater friends and as we know snape was one person voldemort trusted like hell...n snape became dumbeldore's man later after lily's murder..so mayb this is how dumbeldore came to know the details about lily's murder when snape told him and ultimately the whole wizarding community came to know about it

indeed there is a significance behind voldemort wanting the defence against dark arts job...if you must have read the 6th novel you would know..he wanted to create a horcrux in hogwatrs and for that he needed to stay in school

mayb regulus left the death eaters because he became upset when voldemort used kreacher for the terrible job..and he lost his faith in voldemort

i think regulus died by thirst...
